I've been out of touch with 2600 for at least a decade, and had hoped for more schematics and other diagrams, as well as info. on otherwise-obscure devices and technology, etc. Did find lots of reading, which is fine. Seems that competition from, say, Makers, Arduino, Raspberry π,, and such has siphoned off contributions. Should write up my midnight hacking in 1960 for 2600...Nevertheless, 2600 is most important for hacker culture and our society in general. (Hackers are mostly benevolent, some care deeply about civil society. A few have given the word "hacker" a bad name among the general public, most unfortunately.)
